Benj. Franklin Printing Company was started in 1924 by Benjamin Herbert Franklin, a distant cousin of the well-known Statesman and kite-flyer.
John R. Overbey, Sr. partnered with Ben and eventually took over the business so Ben could pursue the things in life he treasured most, i.e. anything but printing!
Three generations later Jay Overbey (John R. “Jay” Overbey, III) continues the family business alongside his /receptionist/Mother, Ellen; His bookeeper-HR/Wife, Denise; and his work-schooling nephew Bailey.
“We’re a mix of old and new technologies,” blending everything from old-school letterpress printing to digital printing. We aim to be competitive while offering personalized service to fit your business needs.
